“ I recently stumbled upon Fuyu Ramen & Sake in Sunnyside, and I'm so glad I did--it's now my favorite spot for enjoying authentic Japanese ramen. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm, cozy ambiance that instantly made me feel at home. But the real star of the show was the Classic Tonkotsu ramen. The broth is incredibly rich and creamy, bursting with savory umami that coats every ingredient. The tender chashu pork melts in your mouth, and the soft-boiled egg is cooked to perfection with a silky, gooey center that adds a wonderful contrast to the richness of the broth. “ Outstanding ramen and small plates in Sunnyside. Started with the shrimp tempura and gyoza, perfectly cooked, non-sticky with a nice crunchy bottom. Tried the Spicy Miso chicken broth, I like the ground pork very much and it has a kick! For desserts, we enjoyed the matcha cheesecake - perfect blend of flavor, texture and not too sweet. Goes well with our favorite Junmai Ginjo sake. Angela and Sunny are awesome! Seated us quickly and very attentive. Will be back again! ”
“ Ate here today by myself on a cold Thursday afternoon that I had brought, ordered and ate the takoyaki as an appetizer, then the pork tonkatsu ramen and mango mochi ice cream for dessert. As an overall, it had tasted really good and delicious. The service there was also attentive and extremely friendly, patient and pleasant and many thanks to server named Angela who kept smiling at me while I'm enjoying my meal. The ambiance was relaxing and soothing that it was mainly Japanese music. I couldn't agree more. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time! :) ”

I started with TAKOYAKI, which was quite good and fresh, you could taste the little bites of octopus and the moving dried bonito on top! Then I went for the CLASSIC TONKOTSU RAMEN which is the perfect combination of pork broth with pork, veggies and egg. The service was nice, restaurant is clean, and feels good even though on a hot summer day. ESPAÑOL: Muchos amigos me habían recomendado Fuyu Ramen así que tenía que venir a probarlo. Empecé con el TAKOYAKI, que estaba bastante bueno y fresco, se podían encontrar las pequeñas piezas de pulpo y el bonito seco encima moviéndose! Luego fui por el CLASSIC TONKOTSU RAMEN que es la perfecta combinación de caldo de cerdo, con cerdo, verduras y huevo. El servicio es amable, el restaurante está limpio y se siente bien incluso en un caluroso día de verano. ”

The Chili powder that they serve on the side gives the soup a perfect kick. The appetizers we got were the Edamame & the shrimp tempura which was A1, with its sweet & savory hints. Its a small spot but the food packs huge flavor. 100% Recommendable ”
